Adekunle Ajasin University (AAUA) is a state government owned and operated Nigerian university. The university is in Akungba Akoko, Ondo State, Nigeria.

Adekunle Ajasin University was first established as Obafemi Awolowo University in March 1982 by the government of the old Ondo State, headed by the late Chief Michael Adekunle Ajasin.

The immediately succeeding military government of Navy Commodore Michael Bamidele Otiko changed its name to Ondo State University in 1985.

Its relocation to Akungba Akoko in the new Ondo State became imperative in 1999, following the creation of a new state out of the old Ondo three years earlier in October 1996.

 Candidates Eligible to Purchase AAUA Post UTME Form.

  • Those who made Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko (AAUA) their institution of first choice in the 2022/2023 UTME and scored 160 and above;
  • Direct Entry candidates who chose AAUA as their institution of first choice; and
  • Candidates who didn’t choose the institution but scored 160 in the 2022 UTME and are willingly make Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko their institution of first choice.

NOTE: Candidates who did not make Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, their institution of first choice initially, but are willing to choose AAUA, should make the necessary change of Institution on JAMB CAPS to AAUA.

How to Obtain AAUA Post UTME Form.

  1. Candidates should log on to the University’s admission screening portal putme.aaua.edu.ng with VALID JAMB Registration Number to Create Account and generate Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) to make payment at any commercial bank;
  2. Please note that the candidates UTME Registration Number and the Full Names (as it is on JAMB Slip) should be correctly provided at the point of payment and registration.
  3. Candidates are to obtain a print-out containing the RRR number from the Bank upon payment of N2,000.00 only.
  4. After successful payment, candidates are to return to the University portal to complete Biodata Form online and print out Examination Slip.

Additional Information About AAUA Post UTME

  1. Candidates are advised to correctly upload all their O’Level results on the portal. A maximum of two (2) sittings is allowed in the case of O’Level requirements.
  2. AAUA accepts WAEC, NECO, NABTEB O’Level results.
  3. AAUA accepts ND (Upper Credit), HND (Lower Credit) and JUPEB (6 Points) for Direct Entry candidates.
  4. Candidates awaiting O’Level results may also apply but must upload their results as soon as they are released on both the University portal and JAMB CAPS for seamless admission processing.
  5. Candidates are to click on Admission Requirements to check for O’Level and UTME subject requirements for their course of choice.
  6. Candidates who did not comply with the UTME subject combination are requested to change to their desirable course on JAMB CAPS to be considered for admission.
  7. Candidates are advised to read the O’Level requirements of their courses and select the right subject combinations, which must include Credit Passes in English Language and Mathematics for all courses in AAUA.
  8. Candidates should ensure that the on-line form is carefully completed, following ALL necessary instructions, as “mistake(s)” may be seen as misrepresentation/falsification of documents, which shall lead to disqualification.
  9. Candidates are then to print-out evidence of completion of the transaction and keep for future reference.
  10. It is compulsory for all candidates to participate in the online screening exercise to further qualify them for admission by the University.

  • The registration for the online screening exercise will commence soon.

  • The University will not take responsibility for failure to get information as a result of invalid email addresses and non-functional phone numbers.
