The Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) also known as the Nigeria Air Force University is a military school approved by the National Universities Commission to run undergraduate and postgraduate courses in 2018/2019.

It supports the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) and civilian communities by provision of basic training on Aeronautics, aerospace engineering mechatronics engineering and avionics. It is located in Kaduna state, Northern side of Nigeria.

Candidates who chose the Air Force Institute of Technology, Kaduna as the First Choice University during the 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are to be informed that the university management has released the screening form for the 2022 admission.

How to Apply For AFIT Post UTME Screening

Visit the official website atafit.edu.ngor the Current Application Steps. The steps below can also be helpful.

1. Visit the University websiteafit.edu.ng
2. Click on Prospective students.
3. Click on the link; “2020/2022 POST-UTME Application”.
4. Enter your JAMB Registration Number to generate Payment Invoice containing the Remita Retrieval Reference Number (RRR).
5. Proceed to any Bank with the payment invoice OR simply pay with your ATM Card.
6. Return to the Application page and enter your JAMB Registration number again.
7. Proceed with the completion of the form.
8. Correctly enter your O’Level results.
9. Confirm your entries.
10. Submit your application.
11. Print out your acknowledgment slip.
12. Await further communication from the University.

AFIT Post UTME Requirements for Registration

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Air Force Institute of Technology Kaduna, Degree programs for the 2022/2023 academic session. To be eligible for admission, you need to meet certain requirements which are stated below.

Only students who choose the Air Force Institute of Technology as their first choice in the 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and score the required AFIT cut-off mark are eligible to apply for admission. The minimum cut-off mark for the Air Force Institute of Technology is 180.

Addition Information

Candidates must obtain at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects including Mathematics and English Language in no more than two sittings. However, some AFIT courses do not require having credit in Mathematics.

All prospective students are advised to strictly adhere to the guidelines and obtain necessary clarifications as required. Also, candidates who do not participate in the Post-UTME screening exercise will not be offered admission.
