Candidate must have a Doctorate degree in relevant discipline with a least 9 years Teaching/Research or industrial work experience in a recognized higher institution of learning or industry plus five articles published in reputable journals in the relevant area of study, and six conference papers, or holder of Master’s degree in relevant discipline with 12 years teaching/research or industrial work experience in a recognized higher institution of learning with three conference papers, three journal articles or contribution of two chapters in a standard text book(s). Membership of relevant professional body is mandatory.

  1. LECTURER 1 – CONPCASS 06 (CONTEDISS 12)

Candidate must possess a Doctorate degree in relevant discipline from a recognized institution of higher learning plus three years Teaching/Research or Industrial work experience plus three journal articles published in reputable journals in the relevant area of study and four conference papers, or holder of Master’s Degree with six years Teaching/Research or Industrial work experience, two articles published in reputable journal(s) plus two conference papers. Membership of relevant professional body is mandatory.

Candidate must possess a Doctorate degree in relevant discipline from a recognized institution of higher learning plus three articles published in reputable journals and three conference papers or holder of Master’s degree with two articles published in reputable journal(s) plus six years teaching/research or industrial work experience. Candidates must be computer literate and have membership of Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and/or Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors.

Candidate must possess Higher National Diploma in Transportation Planning and Logistics or any relevant discipline performing duties and taking charge of transport in the disposition and supervision of staff and vehicles in the Technical Section.

Candidate must possess a good Bachelor’s degree in Law, Criminology, Social Works and Psychology or any other relevant discipline with NYSC discharge or exemption certificate or ex-police officer not below the rank of ASP with at least 5 years’ cognate experience or ex-police inspector with 10 years’ cognate experience.

Conditions of Service

All successful candidates will be placed on probation for two (2) years continuous service on assumption of duties to the retiring age of 65 years. Persons above 50 years of age need not apply. Other conditions of service are similar to those obtainable in the Polytechnic in Nigeria regulated by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) and the Rivers State Public Service.
