Edo State University, Uzairue (abbreviated EDSU) is a state government-owned tertiary institution founded in 2016. It is located in Iyamho, a town in Etsako West local government area of Edo State, Nigeria. On 23 March 2016, the university was approved by the National Universities Commission as Nigeria’s 41st state university. Edo State University offer undergraduate, postgraduate and research programmes.

On 27 March 2014, the Edo State House of Assembly passed a bill for the establishment of a University of Science and Technology at Uzairue. The University was however changed to Edo University and its location to Iyamho.

The management of Edo State University (EDSU) wishes to invite all suitably qualified candidates seeking for admission into the citadel of learning to apply for the school’s Post UTME screening exercise. This is to inform the general public and all interested candidates in particular to prepare for the internal screening.

EDSU Post UTME Requirements And Registration

Below is the general eligibility requirements for Post UTME registration:

• All UME candidates who scored 160 and above in the just concluded 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (JAMB-UTME).
• All Direct Entry Candidates who made EDSU their first choice
• You Must be 16 years old
• You must have at least an O’level Credit pass in 5 different subjects (Including English language and mathematics). In this case, the O’level result could be WAEC/NECO/GCE/NABTEB or any equivalent.
• Your O’level result must not be more than two sittings.

How To Apply For EDSU Post UTME 2023/2024

To apply for the institution’s Post UTME screening exercise, kindly follow the list below:

• Go to EDSU Screening Portal via https://www.edouniversity.edu.ng/admissions/register.
• Obtain the EDSU Post UTME Form Via EDSU Undergraduate Portal.
• Click on the Post UTME form publication therein.
• Follow the instructions provided on the portal to successfully buy and register for the EDSU Post UTME screening exercise.
• Print out your POST UTME Registration slip afterwards.
• Finally, Wait for the EDSU Screening date to be announced and the admission list.
