Fed Poly Ukana Gets NBTE Accreditation for 8 Courses. National Board For Technical Education (NBTE) has granted accreditation to 8 courses at Federal Polytechnic, Ukana in Akwa Ibom State. The approval is the sequel to the Resource Inspection/ Verification exercise embarked by the NBTE Visitation team in the Polytechnic between 13th and 14th July 2022. The approval takes effect from the 2021/2022 academic session.

ADMISSSION REQUIREMENTS FOR ND COMPUTER SCIENCE
Candidates must have scored at least up to the cut-off point as determined yearly by the Institution and JAMB in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and uploaded their SSCE, NECO or GCE O’ Level or its equivalent on the CAPS.
Candidates must have five credit passes in SSCE, NECO or GCE O’ Level or its equivalent in not more than two sittings in the following subjects:
Mathematics,
English language,
Physics
and any two of the following : Chemistry, Economics, Further Mathematics, Statistics, Agricultural Science, Geography and Biology.
In addition, candidates applying must have taken JAMB’s Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) in the following subjects:
Mathematics
and any two of the following: (ii) Geography (iii) Physics (iv) Economics (v) Chemistry
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR ND STATISTICS
Candidates must have scored at least up to the cut-off point as determined yearly by the Institution and JAMB in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and uploaded their SSCE, NECO or GCE O’ Level or its equivalent on the CAPS.
Five credit passes in SSCE, NECO, and GCE O’ Level or its equivalent, in not more than two sittings from the following subjects:
Mathematics
English Language
and any other three subject from – physics, Chemistry Economics , Further Mathematics , Statistics ,Agricultural Science , Geography, Biology, CRK, Animal Husbandry and Civic Education.
In addition, candidates applying must have taken JAMB’s Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) in the following subjects:
Mathematics
and any two of the following:
(a) Geography (b) Physics (c) Economics (d) Chemistry
