AUE is renowned for its diverse range of postgraduate programmes which include:

• Postgraduate Diplomas such as PGD, PDDE, PGDE
• Master’s Degrees like MA, MEd, MSc, among others
• Doctorate Degrees, prominently the PhD

Moreover, candidates awaiting their NYSC discharge certificates are welcome to apply, showcasing the university’s commitment to providing opportunities for all.

Eligibility Criteria

For Postgraduate Diploma (PGD, PGDL, PGDE):

• A First degree from any recognised university with a Pass or Third Class Degree
• A Higher National Diploma in a related study domain

For Master’s Degree Programmes (MA, MA Ed, MEd, MLS, MSc. Ed):

• A First degree from any recognised university with a minimum of a Second Class Degree in a related field
• A Postgraduate Diploma in a corresponding area of study

NDDC Foreign Post-Graduate Scholarship

Commonwealth Master’s and PhD Scholarships

For Master of Philosophy (MPhil/PhD):

• Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Master of Public Administration (MPA) qualifications
• A Master’s degree in a related domain with a CGPA below 3.5 on a 5.0 scale

For Doctorate Degree (PhD):

• A Master’s degree in a closely related field with a CGPA of 3.5 or higher on a 5.0 scale

Duration of the Programmes

• PGD & PGDE Programmes: 12 calendar months
• PDDE Programme: 4 Calendar months (This is an accelerated programme)
• MA, MEd & MSc Programmes: 12 calendar months
• PhD Programme: Either 24 calendar months, 6 semesters, or 3 long vacations

Application Procedure

Applicants can initiate their admission process through the university’s official online portal. The application requires a fee which varies based on the programme:

• PhD: N40,600.00
• Masters: N35,600.00
• PGD: N25,600.00
• Brochure fee: N7,600.00

For a seamless application process, follow the steps below:

1. Visit the University website
2. Navigate to the Postgraduate School section
3. Register with essential details such as Full Name, Phone Number, and E-mail Address
4. After registration, you will receive login details which you should use to access the portal
5. Proceed with the payment using the provided options
6. Once payment is confirmed, update your registration form with necessary information and credentials
7. Download the brochure for comprehensive details or opt to collect a hard copy from the Postgraduate School
8. Print out your registration form and payment receipt for records

However, candidates who prefer a traditional approach can visit the Admissions office at the postgraduate school for manual enrolment.
