Olevel Requirement for Architecture

Five (5) SSC credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any of Fine Art, Geography or Wood Work, Biology, Economics, Technical Drawing, Further Mathematics, Introduction to Building Construction, Bricklaying/Block laying, Concreting, Wall, Floors and Ceiling Finishing, Joinery, Carpentry, Decorative Painting, Lining, Sign and Design, Wall Hanging, Colour Mixing/Matching and Glazing, Ceramics, Graphics Design, Graphic Printing, Basic Electricity.

JAMB Subject combination for Architecture:

Physics, Mathematics, and any of Chemistry, Geography, Art, Biology and Economics.

 

UTME and Direct Entry Requirements to Study Architecture

  1. (i) Two (2) A Level passes chosen from Mathematics or Physics and Chemistry, Geography or Fine Arts. (ii) ND/HND upper credits in relevant field.
  2. A minimum of 5 credits in the Senior Secondary Certificate Examinations (SSCE/GCE) Ordinary Level Credits in a maximum of two (2) sittings.
  3. Degree (First Class/Second Class Upper) in related fields.
  4. Direct entry candidates are required to purchase the Direct Entry form through the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
  5. A minimum of Merit Pass in the National Certificate of Education (NCE), National Diploma (ND) and other Advanced Level Certificates.
  6. Other qualifications acceptable to the Senate of your University of choice, and being equivalent to (1) and (4) above. In addition to the above minimum admission requirements, candidates must also satisfy such Faculty/Departmental entry requirements.
