KSU Post UTME Screening Form

Prince Abubakar Audu University,(Formerly Kogi State University) located at Anyigba, is the state-owned university of Kogi, Nigeria. It was established in 1999 by Prince Abubakar Audu, the former governor of the state.

At the time of its establishment, it was known as Kogi State University, It was later named Prince Abubakar Audu University (PAAU) in 2002, after the then sitting governor of Kogi State, who heralded its establishment, and later renamed Kogi State University (KSU) in 2003 by the former governor Ibrahim Idris and subsequently renamed as Prince Abubakar Audu University in 2020 by Governor Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello in respect of late Abubakar Audu.

The Management of Kogi State University wishes to Announce to all suitably qualified candidate that the post UTME screening form for  the 2022/2023 Academic Session has been released. On this note all candidate are advised to the school portal an apply.

How Much is KSU Post UTME Screening Form?

The managements of KSU through the approval of the school senate has announced two thousand Naira the price for their 2022Post UTME Screening Form. Therefore candidate are advised to take not of this new development.

Eligibility for KSU Post UTME Screening Exercise

• Only candidates who scored 140 and above in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are qualified for the screening exercise.
• Candidates must possess the basic Five (5) 0′ level credit passes in accordance with the University’s entry requirements.
• The subjects taken at the O’ level must be conventional subjects: Arts(History/Govt., CRS/IRK, English Language, Lit. in English), Sciences(Mathematics, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Further Mathematics) or Social Sciences (Economics/Commence, Geography)
• It is mandatory that Candidates upload their 0 level results, as no admission will be offered without uploading of O’ level on CAPS. However, candidates who are awaiting their O” level results may apply but should so indicate.
• Direct Entry Candidates should have a minimum of 9 points from A’level result or its equivalent; (and a minimum of “C grade” for teaching subjects in NCE) Upper Credit in OND or Lower Credit in HND.
• Diploma must be in the course applied.

METHOD OF APPLICATION for KSU Post UTME Screening

The following are the step by step procedures of how to apply for KSU post utme.

1. Candidates are to pay N2,000.00(Two Thousand Naira Only)  for Kogi State University Screening Exercise on the portal at portal.kogistateuniversity.edu.ng 

• Candidates should visit any Cyber café to register on-line using their JAMB Registration number on the Institution’s portal https://portal.ksu.edu.ng/pd_dip and follow the instructions accordingly.

1. Candidates are required to upload a scanned copy of their passport photograph (file size: not more than 20KB)with RED
2. Candidates are to print out their respective schedule slip or registration slip containing Date and Time schedule for the test. The print out of the Schedule Slip or Registration Slip and the print out of the UTME result MUST be brought to the Screening Venue for submission to Screening Officers. The print out MUST be in COLOUR.
3. Candidates MUST arrive at the HOLDING AREA, DIGITAL CENTRE ONE HOUR (1HR) before their scheduled screening time to ensure proper briefing and accreditation.

• Candidates are to adhere strictly to their schedules.
• Candidates are prohibited from coming into the Examination Hall with phone(s) (Handsets), flash drive(s), modem, biro, pencil and/or any electronic gadgets.

Direct Entry:

All Direct Entry candidates who applied to JAMB for admission and chose Prince Abubakar Audu University Anyigba as institution of First Choice are also required to complete the online application form for their screening exercise.

Prince Abubakar Audu University, Anyigba, Post UTME Screening Exercise Schedule:

1. The Post-UTME screening exercise will take place from AUGUST 22^ND – SATURDAY 10^TH SEPTEMBER, 2022
2. All candidates are requested to kindly note that their screening exercise date is as scheduled in the slip they will print out after online registration. Candidates for the screening exercise are required to strictly stick to these dates.

Note:

1. The registration for the screening exercise will start from Wednesday, 20^th July, 2023, and end on Saturday, 20^thAugust, 2023.

• It is mandatory for candidates to come to the examinations with protective nose mask as well as maintain social distancing in strict compliance with the approved COVID safety regulations. Other safety measures will be available at the examination venue in strict compliance with the approved COVID safety regulations.
