KWASU Post UTME Screening Form

Kwara State University, also known as KWASU, is the 77th university to be registered by the Nigerian Universities Commission (NUC). It is the 95th university to be recognized in Nigeria.

The university was established by the administration of Dr. Bukola Saraki in 2009, and envisioned to be more than a typical university in Nigeria.

Requirements for KWASU Post UTME Screening

What are the requirements that you need for the Kwara State University, Ilorin? The requirements are not much. To be eligible for the KWASU Post UTME Screening 2023/2024 Session, you must meet the requirements below.

• Applicant must have six credit in their SSCE Results including Math and English
• Applicants must have a recent passport photograph, a birth certificate and a certificate of origin.
• Applicant should come to the screening venue with photocopies of SSCE original certificates with six credits including math and English and not more than two sitting.

Admission into Kwara State University is based on merit. Applicants are expected to possess minimum O’level, UTME, and POST-UTME, or other entry requirements.

• Applicants seeking admission into KWASU regular based programmes and KWASU other programmes are to ensure that all information entered about them are true and correct to the best of their knowledge.
• Applicants seeking admission into KWASU other programmes must first visit www.kwasu.edu.ng for stipulated entry requirements, and then follow the instructions to proceed with an online application.

Required Documents for KWASU Post UTME Screening

Keep ready with you the following details / documents / Information, before starting to fill up the on-line application

• Valid and active Email ID
• Personal details
• Educational qualification details
• Image of scanned photograph in jpg / jpeg format and size should not exceed 50 KB
• Image of scanned signature in jpg / jpeg format and size should not exceed 50 KB
• Image of scanned certificates in jpg/jpeg, pdf format and size should not exceed 50 kB

REGISTRATION FEES for KWASU Post UTME Screening

Candidates are required to pay the sum of Two Thousand Naira (₦2,000.00) only as screening fees.

ONLINE REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT INSTRUCTION

• Visit http://myportal.kwasu.edu.ng
• Click “Create account” button.

• Fill the Application Form by entering your details
• provide your names(First Name, Middle Name and Surname)
• provide your phone number
• provide your valid email address
• under Academic Programme, select Undergraduate (Regular)

• under “Mode of Entry”, select UTME or DE as applicable to you (Please note that you cannot use UTME application form for DE admission or vice versa)
• under “Mode of Study”, select Full Time
• under “Centre” select KWASU
• Click “Register”
• On the next page, click “Save” and proceed to payment

• On the “PRE – ADMISSION SCREENING REGISTRATION FEE” page, check and keep the payment details generated and click “Make Payment” button.
• On the “CONFIRM PRE – ADMISSION SCREENING REGISTRATION FEE”, click “Pay Now”
• On the payment platform displayed, enter your card details and click the “Pay” button.
• Once your payment is successful, you will be automatically directed to your registration page where you can complete other stages.
• After completing the registration stages, it is important to print your Registration Form and Payment Receipt.

• If you have successfully paid, and wish to continue your registration stages later, you should just login directly using the username and password sent to you via email and SMS, to access your registration portal.
• Candidates are also to upload a valid scratch card number for verification of their O’level results.

In addition to all the requirements stated above, all candidates must know that final admission into the University is based on meeting the University’s and the Academic Programmes cut-off points in UTME/DE and also on the availability of spaces within the NUC approved admission quota for Kwara State University.
