Lagos State University of Science and Technology is a government-owned tertiary institution located in Ikorodu, Lagos State. The institution was formerly known as Lagos State Polytechnic (LASPOTECH)
The Lagos State College of Science and Technology ( formerly known as Lagos State Polytechnic) was established with the promulgation of Lagos State Edict No. 1 of 1978 with retroactive effect from June 1, 1977.

The Institution commenced classes in January, 1978 at a temporary site (now the Isolo Campus) with five Departments namely, Accountancy and Finance, Management and Business Studies, Insurance, Secretarial Studies and Basic Studies. They later offered GCE ‘A’ Level courses in the Arts and Sciences.

What is cut off mark?
Cut off mark is simply defined as the minimum score required for admission consideration into any higher institution of learning. This include; universities, polytechnics, colleges, etc. All interested candidates who wishes to further their education in a tertiary institution of learning must meet the cut off mark in the most recent JAMB-UTME.
Only candidates who scored up to the minimum mark or points are qualified for admission consideration into any higher institution of learning in most cases. All qualified candidates can proceed to purchase their preferred school’s Post UTME form when due.

What is LASUSTECH Cut Off Mark 2023/2024
The management of Lagos State University of Science and Technology LASUSTECH has pegged the cut off mark for 2022/2023 academic session at 130. To this note, the management of LASUSTECH wishes to urge all interested and qualified candidates to proceed with the post utme exercise.
Candidates who scored up to 130 and above should kindly proceed to purchase the school’s post utme form as at when due.
However, this cut off mark may vary considerably depending on the course/department of interest.
