Brief History of NAITES
The Nigerian Army College of Environmental Science and Technology (NACEST) first stated as Institute of Technology and Environmental Studies (ITES) and was later changed to Nigerian Army Institute Technology of Environmental Studies (NAITES).

The idea all started in 1978 when the Federal Military Government conceived the idea of building the a School of military engineering that would provide the technical knowledge required by the Nigerian Army Engineers at the lower, medium and higher levels.

Methode of NAITES Post UTME Screening Application 2023/2024
Application Form Cost: N6,500 (Includes Form Fee: N3,000, Examination Fee: N2,500, Bank Charges: N200 and Result Checker: N700.
- Visit the school website via https://www.nacestmk.edu.ng/
- Click on the “Admission button” on the portal menu
- Fill your bio-data, choose proposed programmes and wished screening venue
- Submit your form and print the bank invoice at the next page
- Take the invoice to UBA Bank branch and make payment
- Return to the application and click on “continue application”
- Fill the whole form and submit.
- The print a copy of your summary application and Examination Card.

NOTE: Forms are also available in Hard Copy at different sales outlets across the country and at Nigerian Army College of Environmental Science and Technology (NACEST) Campuses in BIU and Makurdi.
Before you think of applying for NAITE you must first off all meet the following criteria.
- Candidate must be up to 16 years.
- You must have NAITE your first or Second choice institution.
- Candidate must score up to 140 in his or her UTME examination.
- You must have 5 Credit Passes in your O’ Level result of which mathematics and English language must be included.
