GUIDELINES FOR REGISTRATION AND ACCREDITATION OF CYBER CAFE OPERATORS – The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) relies heavily on Cyber Café Operators (CBO), who offer a wide range of online services to both aspiring and current Corps Members via the NYSC site.
To ensure the orderliness of activity on the NYSC portal, the Management of the NYSC is prepared to begin the registration and accreditation of interested CBO.
The purpose of this document is to offer the necessary instructions for this process.

THE ACCREDITATION OBJECTIVES
Below are the main objectives of the accreditation process;
- To make the NYSC online registration procedure more rational.
- To persuade owners of cybercafés to collaborate with the NYSC.
- To sift out con artists among those who own cyber cafés that provide online services to Corps Members who are serving and prospective.
- By creating a Database of Cyber Café Operators, you can ensure efficient monitoring of the operators.
- Encourage prospective corps members to register online with zero errors

REGISTRATION PROCESS
Interested Cyber Café Operator must adhere to the following;
- Register on the NYSC CBO website as well as upload requisite documents as stipulated by the Scheme for approval.
- Issuance of provisional registration for successful Cyber Café Operators, pending inspection of company’s premises.
- Inspection of Premises/Verification of documents.
- Signing and submission of the Cyber Café Operators Agreement.
- Issuance of Certificate by NYSC to accredited Cyber Café Operators.
- Monitoring of accredited Cyber Café operators.
What is needed for NYSC registration?
- You must have an email address and an active phone number.
- Scanned Passport Photographs.
- Only those on the NYSC Senate List are eligible to register.
- Your Matriculation Number must be Accurate (This applies to locally trained PCMs).
- Foreign PCMs should upload

FEES
See below for the fees for interested Cyber Café Operators (CBOs):
- Expression-of-Interest fee – N5,000.
- New Registration fee – N20,000.00.
- Annual Renewal of Accreditation fee – N16,000.00
Cyber Café Operators are NOT to charge more than Two Thousand (N2,000.00) Naira for services rendered to Prospective Corps members (both Nigerian and Foreign-trained).

BUILDING CAPACITY FOR ACCREDITED OPERATORS
Accredited CBOs will get recurring training from the NYSC to inform them of new features on the NYSC Integrated System (NIS) platform.
