NYSC Guidelines for Registration and Accreditation of Cyber Café Operators (CBO) – The National Youth Service Corps has developed “NYSC Cyber Cafe Operators Accreditation” (NYSC). This is to bring sanity to the NYSC online registration process.
Cyber Café Operators (CBO) are critical stakeholders of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), providing numerous online services on the NYSC portal to both prospective and serving Corps Members. Accordingly, the Management of the NYSC is set to commence registration and accreditation of interested CBO to ensure the sanity of activities on the NYSC portal. Thus, this document is to provide the needed guidelines for this process.

NYSC Accreditation and Registration Requirements
- To bring sanity to the NYSC online registration process.
- To encourage Cyber Café operators to work as partners with the NYSC.
- To weed out quacks amongst Cyber Café operators that perform online services for Prospective and serving Corps Members.
- Ensure effective monitoring of Cyber Café operators through the creation of a Database of Cyber Café Operators.

What are the NYSC requirements for registration?
- You must have an email address and an active phone number.
- Scanned Passport Photographs.
- Only those on the NYSC Senate List are eligible to register.
- Your Matriculation Number must be Accurate (This applies to locally trained PCMs).
- Foreign PCMs should upload

This indicates that the official start date for NYSC Batch C stream One (1) registration is September 10, 2022.
Building Capacity for Accredited Operators
The NYSC will provide periodic training for accredited CBOs to educate them on new features on the NYSC Integrated System (NIS) platform.

APPROVAL OF APPLICATION
All applications (information and attached papers) are reviewed by NYSC, who then either accepts or disapproves them based on their findings.
APPROVED APPLICATION
CBOs whose applications are approved receive an email with the subject line “Congratulations, your Application is Successful.”
There are then additional directions for the subsequent course of action.
DISAPPROVED APPLICATION
CBO with unsuccessful applications will also receive an email stating the reason for disapproval.

STAGE 3 – PAYMENT FOR NEW REGISTRATION PAGE:
CBO pays the Twenty (N20,000) Naira New Registration Fee via Remita as a newly registered and certified CBO.
Additionally, a “Confirmation of Successful Payment” printout or a copy sent to an email address will be accessible.
SUCCESSFUL PAYMENT/CBO AGREEMENT
Following payment confirmation, CBO receives an email confirmation receipt that includes a link to the NYSC CBO Agreement and further instructions.
STAGE 4 – CBO AGREEMENT SUBMISSION
CBO download, print, sign and submit the NYSC CBO Agreement (Two copies) at the NYSC State Secretariat where the company resides, while the NYSC State Coordinator signs on behalf of the NYSC.
On notifying the NYSC Directorate Headquarters of the submission of the agreement, CBO receives a Temporary Access Code as well as a link to operate on the NYSC registration portal. The access code will expire after three (3) months, during which Inspection of company premises will be conducted and subsequent issuance of the Certificate.
STAGE 5 – APPROVED CBO ACCESS CODE
Afterwards, Permanent Access Code will be issued to enable operation on the NYSC portal for a period of One (1) Year.

STAGE 6 – CBO PREMISES INSPECTION
At the commencement of the NYSC CBO Accreditation Project, a timetable will be published for inspection of all successfully registered CBOs. Afterwards, Inspection will be scheduled quarterly
STAGE 7 – ISSUANCE OF ACCREDITATION CERTIFICATE
NYSC will produce an Accreditation Certificate and send it via email to all successful registered and fully accredited CBO. The Date of renewal of Accreditation is one (1) year after it is issued.
