This unique program is designed for ambitious young graduates eager to translate their academic achievements into real-world, professional success. The opportunity targets those ready to be part of the Commercial, Technical, Sales and Finance departments at TotalEnergies’ Lagos office, Nigeria. The program’s main aim is to foster a new generation of professionals equipped with not just theoretical knowledge, but hands-on experience.
The Young Graduate Program operates on a rotational basis. The journey starts with a six-month placement in Nigeria, allowing participants to familiarize themselves with the company’s operations and culture. This period is followed by a year-long expatriation to one of TotalEnergies’ affiliates in Africa or to its HQ in Paris. This phase is contingent on performance and availability and exposes participants to a myriad of new experiences, expanding their professional horizons.
TotalEnergies encourages Nigerians under the age of 26 with less than one year of professional experience to apply. Applicants are expected to have completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) and hold a degree in fields such as Mechanical, Civil, Electrical Engineering, Accounting, Economics, Finance, Marketing, or Business.
In addition to academic prowess, TotalEnergies seeks individuals exhibiting a range of behavioural competencies. These include an innovative and results-oriented mindset, customer focus, adaptability, and effective interpersonal skills. Applicants should also demonstrate an ability to view the ‘big picture,’ coupled with accountability and commitment.
