UAES Cut Off Mark 2023/2024

The Imo State University of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences is a public University established by the Act of Imo State Parliament Law No. 4 of 2019 (Amended Law No. 7 of 2020). The take-off campus is located on the site of the current Imo Polytechnic, Umuagwo, a town in the Ohaji/Egbema Local Government Area of Imo State and 26km from Owerri on the Port-Harcourt Road. The campus is well established with significant infrastructural development.

On the 18th of April 2019, the National Universities Commission (NUC) approved UAES as the 49th State and 171st University in the Nigerian University system and the second public university established and fully owned by Imo State Government. The thirty-one (31) undergraduate programmes approved to run on the full time mode with effect from the 2020/2021 academic session under five schools/faculties can be accessed on the university website.

What is UAES Cut Off Mark 2023/2024?

The management of University of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences (UAES) has considerably placed the school’s cut off mark at 160 and above. All admission seekers, wishing to study their dream course(s) in this unique citadel of learning is expected to meet the required minimum score as stated above.

What is UAES General Admission Requirements?

  • UAES admission is open for all candidates who sat for the UTME in 2022/2023 session and scored a minimum of 160.
  • Interested candidates are also required to apply for the school’s internal screening exercise (Post UTME).
  • It is advisable for interested candidates to make the institution their first choice.
  • Candidates who did not choose UAES as first choice University but scored the required cut-off mark can also apply on the condition that they visit the JAMB website for a change of Institution.
  • All candidates must have five (5) O’ level credits in relevant subjects at not more than two (2) sittings. Candidates waiting O’ level results can also apply but they will not be considered for admission until their results are available.
