UNIUYO Part Time Degree Admission Form 2023/2024

The part-time undergraduate programmes at UNIUYO are designed to offer flexibility and are tailored to meet the needs of students who wish to balance their studies with other commitments. Here is a detailed breakdown of the programmes:

Duration of Programmes

• UTME candidates: Five (5) years
• Direct Entry candidates: Four (4) years
• Exception: Department of Agricultural Economics and Extension, which runs for six (6) years for UTME and five (5) years for Direct Entry candidates, respectively.

UNIUYO Part-Time Admission Requirements & Information

Requirements for UTME Candidates

• Possess (WASC/NECO/GCE) or equivalent with at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects.
• Score a minimum of 150 in the 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
• Possess academic qualifications as specified by the Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board for the chosen subject.
• Undergo the University of Uyo qualification screening exercise.

Direct Entry Candidates

• Possess at least two (2) A/Level papers, (NCE) National Certificate in Education, National Diploma or equivalent University Diploma.
• Attach photocopies of UTME Direct Entry SLIPS for 2022.
• Submit photocopies of credentials and UTME Direct Entry Slip for 2022 to the Administrative Secretary, School of Continuing Education and Professional Studies, University of Uyo, Uyo.
• Undergo the University of Uyo qualification screening exercise.
• Submit hard copies of all credentials to the Administrative Secretary, School of Continuing Education and Professional Studies, University of Uyo, Uyo.

How to Apply for UNIUYO Part-Time Admission Form

METHOD OF APPLICATION FOR PART-TIME UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMMES

1. Pay a non-refundable fee of N9,000.00 (Nine Thousand Naira) via Remita Payment Platform.
2. Visit uniuyo.edu.ng/eportals or www.uniuyo.edu.ng (click on e-portals link).
3. Select Admission forms link (on the sidebar).
4. Select e-Form(s) option.
5. Select Admission Type (Example; Part-Time (UTME), Part-Time (DE), as the Admission Form Type).
6. Enter your phone number, Name and E-mail address.
7. Click the MAKE PAYMENT NOW button to make payment (payment can be made online or at any commercial Bank branch using pre-payment slip via Remita Platform).
8. Return to the online portal and click on REGISTER LINK to obtain your login credentials.
9. Note your Login credentials generated.
10. Login, complete your registration and print out the 2022/2023 application form.
