UNIZIK Post UTME / DE Screening Form 2023/2024

Candidates with the passion and qualifications can set their sights on UNIZIK’s diverse and vibrant courses. Here’s who can apply:

1. Candidates who chose UNIZIK or its affiliated institutions as their first choice and meet the cut-off mark.
2. Candidates who didn’t choose UNIZIK initially but scored the required cut-off marks can also apply. If this is you, you’ll need to visit the JAMB website for a change of institution

Understanding the Cut-Off Marks

The faculties and programmes at UNIZIK have been categorised under various cut-off marks. Knowing these will guide your application process.

FACULTIES/PROGRAMMES WITH CUT OFF MARK OF 200:

• LAW, MEDICINE & SURGERY, PHARMACY
• HEALTH SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY: Environmental Health Science, Human Nutrition, Medical Lab Science, Medical Rehabilitation/Physiotherapy, Nursing Science, Radiography.

PROGRAMMES WITH CUT OFF MARK OF 180:

• (Inclusive of Arts, Basic Medical Science, Biosciences, Engineering, Management Sciences, Physical Sciences, Social Sciences).

FACULTIES/PROGRAMMES WITH CUT OFF MARK OF 160:

• (Including Agriculture, Education, Environmental Sciences, Arts, Biosciences, Engineering, Physical Sciences, All Affiliate Institutions).

Special Note for Direct Entry Candidates

Direct Entry candidates must have qualifications such as OND/HND/First Degree or A’Level in relevant disciplines and subjects.

How to Apply for UNIZIK Post UTME Form

The application process has been made seamless. Follow these steps from 10th August to 30th September 2023:

1. Visit apply.unizik.edu.ng.
2. Create an account using an email, phone number, and password.
3. Validate the account with a code sent to your email/phone.
4. Login and click on the 2023 PostUTME application.
5. Link your JAMB registration profile.
6. Print your Invoice and pay N2000 at the bank.
7. Return to the portal and complete the application form.
8. An email will acknowledge the receipt of your application.

Note: Changes to your course or institution into UNIZIK must be completed by 16th September 2023.

For Direct Entry Candidates

In addition to the above, ensure:

• Your academic transcript is sent to the Registrar, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.
• Hard copies of essential documents are submitted to the Deputy Registrar (Admissions) by 16th September 2023.
• Candidates whose transcripts are not received before the deadline will not be considered for admission.

Requirements for the Screening Exercise

Stay updated via your phone, email, and the UNIZIK website for further details on the post-UTME/DE screening exercise. Ensure:

• Your O’level results are uploaded on the JAMB portal.
• You register online; otherwise, you will not be involved in the screening.

Important Notes

• The University will not be liable for any payment made with the wrong JAMB registration number.
• Avoid fraudulent payments not in line with UNIZIK’s directives.
