M. Damianus Ojijeogu, WAEC public relationship officer, has spoken to the press about the latest development on how long it will take Waec 2022 results to be out online.
He said that the various centers were to submit their papers as soon as each exam was over, report back to the council and grade the papers shortly afterward.
The good news is that WAEC results can be made public even earlier than the specified 45 days, or at most, 45 days.
WAEC Result Release 2022 Date?
WAEC has set August 8, 2022, as the date for the announcement of WASSCE 2022 results for school candidates. Therefore, the results will be released at noon on August 8, 2022.

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has today, released the West African Senior School Certificate Examination for school candidates 2021 in Nigeria.
According to WAEC, 81.7% of Nigerian students who sat for the examination passed with at least five credits, including English and Mathematics.

- Go to West African Examination Council (WAEC) website https://www.waecdirect.org/
- Enter your 10-digit WAEC Examination Number. (This is your 7-Digit center number followed by your 3-digit candidate number eg. 4123456789)
- Enter the 4 digits of your Examination Year eg 2021
- Select the Type of Examination
- Enter the Card Serial Number found on the reverse side of your Scratch card.
- Enter the Personal Identification Number (PIN) on your Scratch card
- Click Submit and wait for the results window to come up
How To Check WAEC Results Using Phone via SMS Text Message
- Open the text message app on your phone.
- Select Send New Message.
- Type your WAEC*ExamNo*PIN*ExamYear.
- Enter 32327 for the receiver.
- Click on send a message.
- You will receive your WAEC result via SMS.
