When is YSU Post UTME Registration Starting?

The Management of the Yobe State University is gladly inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates seeking to secure admission into the institution. All interested or prospective students are hereby advised to apply as and when due.

YSU Courses, Post UTME Requirements And Registration

Below is the criteria for eligibility to apply for Yobe State University Post UTME Screening exercise.

  1. All interested UTME candidates must have 180 and above in the just concluded 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (JAMB-UTME).
  2. All Direct Entry Candidates must have made YSU their first choice
  3. Candidates Must be 16 years old
  4. Candidates must have at least an O’level Credit pass in 5 different subjects (Including English language and mathematics). In this case, the O’level result could be WAEC/NECO/GCE/NABTEB or any equivalent.
  5. Candidate’s O’level result must not be more than two sittings

The current UTME Cut off Mark for YSU is 180. The Yobe State University, Damaturu is inviting candidates who made YSU their first choice in the recently concluded UTME for admission into their department of choice.
NO.The Yobe State University is not among the selected schools that JAMB Choice as second choice universities. This means that no matter the JAMB Score you have (Be it 300 or above), YSU will not consider you for admission if you apply them as 2nd choice.
JAMB CAPS only gives admission to students who choose a school as the first choice. This is the admission process now.
