FUTO Resumption Date

The University Management hereby directs the resumption of full academic activities in the Federal University of Technology Owerri, with effect from Monday, October 17, 2022. This comes as a result of the suspension of the industrial action that was being taken by all of the university-based staff unions.

Please be advised that from Monday, October 24, 2022, lectures will resume in earnest.

Admission Requirements into Federal University of Technology, Owerri

FUTO Resumption Date

Before a student is offered admission into FUTO, he or she is required to have a minimum of 5 credits in related subjects which is contained in the JAMB Brochure. Also, valid information about the admission requirements for FUTO should also be contained in the brochure printed by JAMB on a yearly basis for students to use.

Be informed that more courses can be added as FUTO passes accreditation to allow for more departments within its academic system.
