Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), Ago Iwoye, has released its 2022/2023 Academic Calendar. The schedule was approved during the Senate’s 420th meeting on Thursday, 25th May 2023.
The academic year will officially commence on Monday, 22nd May 2023 with the resumption of students and the beginning of registration, which will last until Friday, 26th May 2023. Lectures for the session will start from Monday, 29th May and end on Friday, 4th August 2023, spanning over 13 weeks.
Payment of fees and registration for all students must be completed by Friday, 9th June 2023. The university has also slated a week from Monday, 5th June to Friday, 9th June 2023 for orientation activities for fresh students at the university, college, faculty, and department levels.

JAMB Change of Course and Institution
Matriculation for fresh students is scheduled for Wednesday, 28th June 2023. The end of lectures for the Harmattan Semester will be on Friday, 4th August 2023, followed by a revision week from Monday, 7th August to Friday, 11th August 2023. The Harmattan Semester examinations will then run from Monday, 14th August to Friday, 25th August 2023.
Once the exams are over, there will be a period for marking and processing results, with the Senate’s consideration of the Harmattan Semester results slated for Monday, 28th August to Friday, 1st September 2023.
Lectures for the Rain Semester will commence on Monday, 4th September 2023 and conclude on Friday, 10th November 2023. The revision week for the Rain Semester is scheduled for Monday, 13th November to Friday, 17th November 2023, and the Rain Semester examinations will take place from Monday, 20th November to Friday, 1st December 2023.
The marking and processing of results, along with the Senate’s consideration of the Rain Semester results, will occur from Monday, 4th December to Friday, 8th December 2023. The academic session will officially conclude on Friday, 8th December 2023.
