Federal University of Agriculture, Zuru was established first as College of Agriculture, Zuru. The college of education was previously affiliated with Ahmadu Bello University Zaria.

After the establishment of the National Board for Technical Education (N.B.T.E) in 1977 by the Federal Government to regulate Technical Education in the country, the NBTE assumed the supervision and accreditation of the college programmes. In 2019, a bill was proposed by Senator Barau Jibrin.

What is Cut Off Mark?
Cut off mark is the minimum score or mark a candidate must have in his or her JAMB UTME examination before he can be admitted into any tertiary institution.
Zuru FUAZ Cut Off Mark 2023/2024
The current UTME Cut off Mark for FUAZ is 140. The Federal University of Agriculture, Zuru is inviting candidates who made FUAZ their first choice in the recently concluded UTME for admission into their department of choice.
FUAZ also has supplementary forms for candidates who did not meet the minimum cut-off point for their department. Candidates are expected to have at least 5 Credits in their WASSCE or NECO Result in addition to scoring at least 140 in the UTME.
